Mark Lauman began practicing photography in early 2008. He rapidly developed a passion for the art of the still image. His love for photography as his artistic outlet stems from the clarity it provides the viewer. He is able to morph an initially abstract concept into an image with distinct aspects. Lauman believes his work should be able to be understood by any participant; all viewers are invited to consider the intentions behind a piece. Photography provides this simple yet powerful communication between artist and audience.
